In short

Most lead platforms do not publish a set price for a pressure washing lead: Google, Angi and Thumbtack price each lead by the job, the place and the competition. What is published is ad budgets, plan fees and third-party estimates, so the table below gives each figure with its source and the date it was checked. The number that decides whether a source pays is your own cost per won job.

  • •Google says Local Services Ads charge per valid lead at prices that vary by location and job type, and gives no dollar figure.
  • •Third-party write-ups report Angi leads at about $15 to $85 and Thumbtack leads at about $10 to over $100; neither platform confirms a figure.
  • •Yelp publishes ad plans from $150 a month, billed per click rather than per lead.
  • •Every figure on this page was checked on 21 October 2026 and can change without notice.
  • •StingLeads charges a flat fee per booked appointment, quoted during onboarding for your market and volume.

Price is the first thing most owners want to know about buying pressure washing leads, and it is the one thing the big platforms are least willing to put in writing. Google, Angi and Thumbtack price leads by the job, the area and the competition, so there is no single number to quote. What does get published is a mix of ad budgets, plan fees, platform rules and estimates from people who track the market.

This guide collects what each source publishes as of 21 October 2026. Every figure links to where it was found and carries the date it was checked. Where a source gives no number, the table says not published instead of guessing, and figures from third parties are labelled as estimates. Use it as a starting point, then check the live price in your own market before you spend anything.

Why there is no single price per lead

Most lead platforms set a price for each lead, not one price for a trade. Google says Local Services Ads lead prices "may vary depending on your location, the job type, the type of lead, or your bidding mode", and that message leads are typically priced lower than phone leads. Angi's help pages say different sized jobs carry different lead fees. Bark sets the number of credits for each contact by the service and the value of the job, and shows it on the lead before you respond.

In practice, a request for a full house wash and a roof soft wash can be priced higher than a request for one driveway, and the same request can cost more in a crowded metro than in a small town. It also means a national average per lead hides a wide spread. Treat any single average as a rough guide at best, and test the real price where you work.

Read the column on who says so before you use a figure. A price the platform publishes itself is a fact about its pricing. An estimate from a third party is that writer's reading of the market, often averaged across many trades. Prices change often, so open each link before you budget.

What the headline numbers leave out

  • Shared leads. A lead that also went to other pros is worth less than one that came to you alone. Angi says requests go to multiple pros, Housecall Pro notes that Thumbtack customers often contact several pros at once, and a Bark request can go to up to five.
  • Clicks are not leads. Yelp and Google Search Ads bill for clicks. How many clicks become calls, and how many calls become booked visits, depends on your listing, your website and how fast you answer.
  • Unanswered calls can still bill. Google counts a missed call during your business hours as a valid Local Services lead when the caller waits more than 20 seconds.
  • Fees around the lead. Membership fees, setup fees and service fees on ad spend add to the real cost of every lead. Spread them across the leads you actually received.
  • Money charged in advance. Nextdoor charges 30 days of your daily budget up front, and Bark credits expire three months after purchase, so unused spend can be lost.
  • Your own time. Every lead that needs chasing costs calls, texts and follow-ups, and every visit that falls through costs a drive.

Work out what a lead really costs you

The figure worth tracking is cost per won job: everything you spent on a source in a period, divided by the jobs you sold from it in that period. It folds in the leads you never reach, the quotes you lose and the fees around the lead, and it is the only number that compares a cheap shared lead with a booked visit fairly.

  1. Pick one source and one period, such as the last 60 days.
  2. Add up everything you paid: lead fees, plan or membership fees, setup fees spread over the months you used it, and ad spend.
  3. Count the leads, the ones you reached, the quote visits you held and the jobs you sold.
  4. Divide the total spend by the jobs sold. That is the cost per won job for that source.
  5. Repeat for every source, and judge each one against your average ticket rather than against another source's sticker price.

The link between close rate and price is where most comparisons flip. A lead at half the price that closes a quarter as often costs twice as much per job you win. A lead at twice the price that closes three times as often is the cheaper one. The arithmetic is simple; the hard part is honest records, so log every lead on the day it arrives.

What you can afford per lead depends on your ticket

A company that mostly sells single driveways can afford far less per lead than one selling full house washes with roof soft washing, gutters and windows. Before you judge any price, pull three numbers from your own invoices: your average ticket, your gross margin on a typical job, and how often a quote visit turns into a sale.

Multiply the average ticket by the margin and by that close rate. The result is what one quote visit is worth to you before you pay anything for it. A source whose cost per visit sits well under that figure is worth testing; a source that eats most of it is not, however low its price per lead looks. Repeat customers change the math in your favor: a homeowner who books a house wash every year is worth several tickets, not one. Our guide to pricing pressure washing jobs covers setting those tickets in the first place.

Where StingLeads fits, and why there is no number here

StingLeads sells booked quote visits to pressure washing and tree service companies, not leads to chase. We reach out to homeowners in the ZIP codes you pick, and when one wants the work, a free quote visit at an agreed time goes on your calendar with the address and the conversation. Each appointment goes to one contractor.

You pay a flat fee per booked appointment, with no contract, subscription or monthly minimum. StingLeads charges a flat fee per booked appointment, quoted during onboarding for your market and volume. A lead with a real defect, such as a disconnected number or a wrong address, gets a credit back or a replacement under our credit policy. More detail is on the pressure washing leads page, and tree crews can start at tree service leads.

How this table was built

Each figure was read from the page linked beside it on 21 October 2026, and only what that page says is stated. Where the platform itself publishes no number, the table says so, and any estimate shown comes from the third party named in the same row. Benchmarks from different publishers use different samples and periods, so a Local Services Ads benchmark and a Search Ads benchmark are not a like-for-like comparison.

Frequently asked questions

What is a fair price for a pressure washing lead?

There is no single fair price, because the value of a lead depends on your ticket, your margin and how often you close. Work out what one quote visit is worth to you, then compare each source on cost per won job rather than on price per lead.

Why don't Angi and Thumbtack publish their lead prices?

Both price leads by the job, the area and demand rather than from one rate card. Angi's help pages say different sized jobs have different lead fees, and Housecall Pro reports that Thumbtack does not share cost data publicly. The price for each lead or job type shows in your account.

How much do Google Local Services Ads cost for pressure washing?

Google does not publish a figure. Its help pages say you pay per valid lead and that prices vary by location, job type, lead type and bidding mode. A September 2026 benchmark reported by Vendasta puts home services at $62.88 per unique lead, but that is an average across trades, not a pressure washing price.

Does Yelp charge per lead?

No. Yelp Ads are paid per click up to a monthly budget you set, and Yelp's pricing page lists plans from $150 a month. Turning clicks into calls and booked visits depends on your page and your follow-up.

Do I pay for a lead that never answers?

On most pay per lead platforms, yes. Housecall Pro reports that Thumbtack charges for access to leads whether or not they turn into booked work. Credit rules differ: Bark's terms return credits for an invalid phone number reported within 7 days, and Google says it may credit Local Services leads it later judges low quality.

How much does StingLeads cost?

StingLeads charges a flat fee per booked appointment, with no contracts, subscriptions or monthly minimums. StingLeads charges a flat fee per booked appointment, quoted during onboarding for your market and volume.

How current are these prices?

Every figure was checked on 21 October 2026. Platforms change prices and plans without notice, so open the linked source before you budget, and check the price shown in your own account before you buy.
